Curry Cashews - Nutritious and delicious snack!

We love out nuts! And we have talked about the nutritional benefits of raw and soaked nuts many times. When you soak nuts, you only need to soak them overnight to unlock the nutrients. It's then important to pour out the water and rinse them thoroughly. You can then keep them in an air tight container for up to 3 days before you use them. They are great thrown into smoothies or used in an off the cuff bliss ball recipe! 

Know your nutrients

Curry powder combines some of the worlds greatest super spices into one tasty and nutrient rich flavour sensation. Curry" is a collective term for a mixture of spices in Indian, Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern cuisines. Turmeric - a member of the ginger family - is typically one of the main ingredients. Turmeric is simply AMAZNG! It is one of the strongest anti inflammatory foods on the planet, known for it's against bowel disease and Rheumatoid arthritis. Curcumin, a phytonutrient found in turmeric is a powerful antioxidant known to be used in treating cancer. 


  • 5 cups of whole soaked cashews
  • 2 TSP sea salt
  • 1 clove of grated garlic
  • 5 TSP organic curry powder
  • 4 TSP turmeric
  • 1 TBSP dark honey
  • 1 TSP lemon juice
  • 1/2 TSP smoked paprika


Rinse your cashews

Toss together in a large bowl with all of the other ingredients. 

Dehydrate at 46.5 degrees for 24 hours for a raw treat, or slow roast in the oven for 3 hours on 70 degrees.

Store in sealed glass jars
